A Few Quick Motion Picture Summaries

by Daryl Raymond

In the past you had to go to a store if you wanted to rent or buy a movie. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. You can get virtually any movie you want with a good movie download site. Here are some examples.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider, The Cradle of Life: Pouting and pillaging in a assortment of exposing outfits, Jolie returns as the video-game adventuress who teams up with her gloomy ex in a race to find Pandora's Box before it falls into the hands of an wicked scientist who desires to harness its current to develop biological weapons. Astonishingly inept and interminable continuation gives new meaning to the word "uninteresting." Cast includes Angelina Jolie, Gerard Butler, Noah Taylor, Christopher Barrie, and Simon Ya. (117 minutes, 2003)

The Cry Baby Killer: Nicholson's film debut is a Roger Corman quickie in which we find a youth offender who worries while he imagines he's committed a murder. A curious piece at best with the writer Leo Gordon and director Corman himself playing small roles. Cast includes Harry Lauter, Jack Nicholson, Carolyn Mitchell, Brett Halsey, Lynn Cartwright, and Ed Nelson. (62 minutes, 1958)

A Cry in The Dark: Amazing real tale of Lindy Chamberlain, an Australian female implicated of slaying her infant, in spite of her claims that the youngster was toted off by a dingo crazy mutt. Author-controller Schepisi informs his tale with nearly documentary like actuality, eloquently assaulting the format of trial by story that made Chamberlain and her spouse the most maligned couple in Australia. Streep and Neill are heartbreakingly excellent. Cast includes Meryl Streep, Sam Neill, Bruce Myles, Charles Tingwell, Notch Tate, and Lewis Fitzgerald. (121 minutes, 1988)

The Siege: New York is under attack by Islamic terrorists. All enforcement agencies must work together to chase down the terrorists. Martial law is called, and CIA and FBI agents work together to take down the terrorists down as quickly as possible.

The War Of The Roses: Oliver and Barbara Rose are both fed up. They can't stand each other any more, and both agree to a divorce. The problem is that neither is willing to leave the house.

Lili Marleen: Second rate bender in reference to third-rate cabaret singer Schygulla, whose carbon copying of the title melody gets to be a hit in Nazi Germany. Captivating subject matter is pretentiously addressed. Cast includes Hanna Schygulla, Giancarlo Giannini, Mel Ferrer, Karl Heinz von Hassel, Christine Kaufmann, Hark Bohrn, Karin Baal, and Udo Kier. (120 minutes, 1981)

The Music Lovers: Sporadically striking although self-indulgent and truthfully awkward account of Tchaikovsky Chamberlain, who weds and drops the whorish Nina Jackson. Overacted, over-directed. Cast includes Glenda Jackson, Richard Chamberlain, Max Adrian, Christopher Gable, and Kenneth' Colley. (122 minutes, 1975)

The Big Squeeze: Boyle works in a bar to aid her harmed ballplayer spouse Bercovicithen and comprehends he's neglected to notify her of a $130,000 settlement he's acquired, so she registers a drifter-hustler a miscast Dobson to get the money. Cast includes Lara Flynn Boyle, Peter Dobson, Danny Nucci, Luca Bercovici, Teresa Despina, and Michael Chieffo. (98 minutes, 1996)

The Shawshank Redemption: Tells the story of a wrongly convicted man serving a life sentence for the murder of his wife. This mild mannered banker survives the ugliness inside the prison through his common decency. All the while, unbeknownst to everyone around, he has taken a small rock hammer, and toiled for years in obscurity, and built himself a secret tunnel to freedom.

For file downloads use a phrase like "Mp4 Movie Downloads". Try a different search if the first one does not provide good information. We would recommend trying "Buy Music Downloads" for new search results.
